Ziv Naveh – CEO and Artistic Director, Gesher Multicultural Film Fund
Ziv Naveh has served as the Executive and Artistic Director of the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund since 2005.
Ziv is a graduate of the Beit Zvi School of the Performing Arts. She has over 25 years of experience in the film industry, including 12 years as a content creator and producer. It was then that she recognized the potential of the big screen to engage with and advance social issues and began developing strategies and techniques to do this.
An archive created by Ziv contains some 300 hours of documentary materials about immigration and absorption to Israel between the years 1991 and 2000. She also established the Documentaries, Current Affairs, and Culture Division at Jerusalem Capital Studios (JCS Group).
In addition to her work with GMFF and time with her family, Ziv serves as a member of jury for the Minister of Immigration and Absorption’s Award for Immigrant Artists, and as a lecturer at various international film festivals (including in Germany, Italy, and China). She also lectures and gives workshops at numerous film schools and institutions around the world.
