For four days, all OUT OF PLACE filmmakers came together in Tel Aviv to discuss filmmaking and activism.

Who hasn’t felt out of place at least once throughout his or her lifetime?

The Gesher Fund presented Out of Place at Israel’s pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival on May 16th, 2015.

Israel’s group of filmmakers met for the first time on April 19th in Tel Aviv. Filmmakers had a chance to discuss their projects with their respective mentors, fellow Out of Place participants and our Out of Place Israel team.

Official kick-off for OUT OF PLACE: For the first time, all participating directors and their trusted partners came together for two separate Opening Sessions in Berlin and Tel Aviv.

June 2016 – Official beginning of production phase: Shooting
